Who We Are
Serving our community since 1936. GFWC Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the community through volunteer service.
GFWC Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club (GFWC HAWC) is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) & GFWC Pennsylvania – one of the world’s largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organizations. All our members are united by a dedication to community improvement through volunteer service.
Our Mission
The mission of the GFWC HAWC is to develop the educational, civic, and social interests of its members, to advance the welfare of the community, and to promote the progress and work of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

GFWC COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM – INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH – for our support of the Uganda Water Project/Humankind Water Grant and donation to repair of a borehole in Uganda and supply clean water to hundreds of people.
